IN TRANSIT created opportunities for artists and 46 young people with complex needs to collaborate on individual film portraits over an eight year period to 2013. The films describe each young person in a way that is personal, poetic and expansive integrating art into the processes of consultation and person centre planning during transition services. The films played a role in the future lives of the young people involved by revealing their individuality and means of accessing the world.
